The Roger Canadine Showband has been established for around two years. After playing with the TA band for ten years, founder Roger draws together his own experience and those of local musicians to create our moderate sized band cosisting of three brass (two trumpet and one trombone) three saxophones, keyboard, bass, drums and male and female vocaists. Whilst we may not boast to be a large band in size, we make up for in sound, delivering that well sought after big band sound.

We play a wide range of music from swing to more up to date modern arrangements. For a more traditional line up, we perform music from big band legends such as Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington. We also cater for the younger audience with hits from the 60's and 70's including beatles and ABBA medolies and Motown classics.

We perform with male and female vocalists. Our regular female vocalists sing hits by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole AND MODERN ARTISTS. We are also fortunate to have guest male vocalists who predominantly sing the Frank Sinatra classics, Have you Met Miss Jones, Mack the Knife etc and many more.

We are available to play for birthday parties, general celebrations, corporate events, weddings, garden parties, dinner dances and the set line up will be adjusted to suit the occasion.
